Healthfirst is committed to providing all its employees with the opportunity to be involved

goals. At Healthfirst, we believe that developmental training can transform employees into
champions.
The Healthfirst University (HFU), launched in 2004, is the training and development arm
of Human Resources that offers mandatory and developmental training for the
organization, in addition to ad hoc requests. HFU has developed career tracks for
Healthfirst employees at all levels to guide them from entrance into the company to
mid-term needs, and then to their long-term developmental needs. Completion of the course curriculum is targeted for end of 2007, with new courses offered throughout the
year as completed.

HFU/HR also offers a training program to newly hired or newly promoted managers, as
well as a Leadership Development Program to employees who have demonstrated
consistent excellence in their role as a manager at Healthfirst.
