That's why Healthfirst offers Child Health Plus. Child Health Plus is a New York State Department of Health Program that provides parents free or low-cost health insurance for their children.

Children may be eligible regardless of their immigration status if they:


 Under the age of 19

Have little or no health insurance

Not eligible or enrolled in Medicaid

Reside in the following Healthfirst service areas: Manhatten, Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, Nassau and Suffolk counties

If your child meets the above requirements he/she may be eligible for Child Health Plus Plan. Click here to send us your information so a Healthfirst Representative can assist you in enrolling in the plan.

If your child is not eligible for Child Health Plus he/she may be eligible for Medicaid Managed Care Plan.
