Working in partnership for over 14 years with the leading hospitals and medical centers in our communities, Healthfirst has successfully delivered state and federally subsidized quality healthcare to New York residents. As of August 2007, Healthfirst provides health insurance to 480,000 members with a growing network of 20,000 providers. Healthfirst is the largest state-funded plan based on market share and overall membership in Medicaid, Family Health Plus and Child Health Plus. As a result of our success, the company’s revenues have more than doubled since 2003, to $1.7 billion in 2007. We also have over $330 million in net assets plus reserves set aside to pay our members claims.

With this experience and our financial stability, we feel confident in developing our unique hospital-managed healthcare business model in the Garden State.
